Monochrome Moscow

Kacang's post brought me back to the one time when Tolga and I brought Diana+ everywhere we went. Our love for Lomography was so strong that getting 120mm films and developing them wasn't a hassle at all. We didn't feel the newfound hobby was costly and full of uncertainty.

The novelty faded after a while.

We were sometimes disappointed by over-exposed films, lost shots and undeveloped rolls. Yeah, once we lost the entire roll of Black&White. I was really upset but that's part and parcel of Lomography. The only best part is the wonderful surprise we collect from the photoshop. They are gorgeous, and authentic.

I forgot we have a scanner :P

I haven't thought much about Moscow since I got to Istanbul but these pictures reminded me of the good times we spent in the city. Oooohhhh.. the good times, so much of it. 7 years of memories :) Moscow is really not a bad place but unfortunately, I can't say the same for its system and people. Transporation wise, the Metro surely isn't A-class but it gets us from point A to B easily.. gets us everywhere.

Moscow played a very big part in my life.

Our trip to Kolomenskoe Park

This is one of my top favourites..
The child looks like Astro Boy with the cowlick! :)

Through Lomography.. it felt like we were in Moscow during the 80s era! LOL

I've uploaded all my pictures online. Catch them here! :)

I remember my friend told me there's a digital camera from Lomography. Supposedly the effects are similar. No need to photoshop and such.

I forgot the name though!
