OMG! I'm sooooooooooooo excited!
I just got my tax number and I will be insured from now on!
Hahahahahaa I've never been insured for free. Living in Istanbul does have its perks. I went to the Labour And Social Security Department in the Sariyer District (where I'm currently residing) to collect my temporary Insurance Card. It's not very impressive (the card looks a bit dirty :P) but should something happen to me and I become bed-ridden *touchwood, double touchwood, spit and spit again*.. I or rather, someone will flash this card to the reception LOL
