Now how the hell did I cut Turkish's hair? Hahahahaa I watched a clip on YouTube beforehand ;) After watching, I was confident and totally in control of the pair of scissors. For any of you who wish to give your boyfriend/man a new look on the head, watch this clip. Otherwise, just watch for fun. Monkey see, monkey do :P
Turkish is the easiest person to co-operate with! No hesitation, no second thoughts.. he was already prepared. The 1 hour ordeal took place in the bathroom, in the bath tub! He sat on the little stool, the height was perfecto. I began to snip slowly, my mind trying to recall what I just learned from the Internet. Bit by bit I trimmed, occasionally chopped off a lot at one side then tried to balance with whatever that was left.. what else can I do right!
Of course I acted like a professional.
I didn't clip the table cloth around his neck properly so it was pretty useless, hair fell all over him :P We were supposed to do it on the floor so it's easier to sweep later but our bathroom is very spacious.. hair might fly to all corners so no thank you. Oooohh, also I nearly blinded his left eye (the scissors slipped from my fingers), punctured his right ear (the scissors.. well, this one is my fault, I miscued), his sideburns almost vanished and uhmmm.. that was all the near-miss accidents. Hahahahahaahaa but I'm not worried.
He WILL let me cut his hair again, and again! ;)
Well, I must say I did a really good job compared to the first time. Poor thing, the last outcome was totally senget (BM=slanted) yet he went about walking in broad daylight with it! But then again, he returned to Istanbul the following week on business and dashed to his entrusted barber LOL
After he got off the stool, he stood in front of the mirror fiddling with his head for another 1/2 hour. Gotlahhhh, he pointed out some holes here and there (but after every comment, there was always an "It's okay" line). At the very last look (I guess he managed to either convince himself or accepted the look), he told me he likes it. Hahahahaha he should. Turkish looks so cute now, and we have scheduled to repeat this practice in near future.
What a lovely evening.

seriously the after pic L n R not balance la wei...
It's balance, it is. Look at his shoulders, he is not fully facing me. That's why one side thicker than the other, it's the angle LOL
awww...so sweet...

I guess if I were to be Turkish and to have my hair cut by someone whom I dearly loved would be something I would cherished for the rest of my life and therefore I dare say that he is not trying to convince himself.. ^_^ He is enjoying every minute of it.. ^_^
P/S... He looks better after the cut ^_^
Thank you for the sweet comment! I'm so proud of myself, looking at my creation everyday LOL He does look better after the haircut rightttt :P
I am sooooo happy you got one of the swetest men in the world. Hahha. Say "I love you Turkish" for me too.
